Do you actually need this?

Honest answer: probably less than the internet suggests. Contactless skimming is real but uncommon, and Pakistani banks cap contactless transaction values. Leather on its own does not block the signal, so shielding has to be a deliberate layer built into the wallet — which is what The Ranger has and the others do not.

If you carry contactless cards and it would bother you, take it. If it would not, ignore the badge. We would rather you bought the right shape than the right acronym.

How to choose

Back pocket, classic shape, most cards? The Saddle holds nine. Lots of cards but you hate bulk? The Foreman has eight slots and no hardware, so it stays flat. Actually carry coins? The Purser has a proper flap and press stud, not a zip that dies in a year. Worried about contactless skimming? The Ranger has a shielding layer built in. Front pocket carry? The Drifter is vertical and small. Want your notes flat instead of folded twice? The Ledger is the long wallet.

Questions we actually get asked

Is this real leather?
Yes. Crazy Horse is a full-grain hide finished with a heavy wax instead of a plastic coating. The way to check any wallet yourself: press your thumb hard into it. Real full-grain creases, then the crease relaxes back. Bonded or coated leather does not move, because you are pressing on plastic.

Why does it arrive with marks on it?
Because it is skin, and it has not been sanded flat or painted over. Scars, insect marks and uneven colour are in the hide before we cut it. A wallet that arrives perfectly uniform has been coated, and coating is what peels.

It scratched on the first day. Is it faulty?
No, and this is the message we get most. Run your thumb hard over the scratch — the wax closes back over it and the mark largely disappears. That is the finish doing its job. Over months the high points darken and the wallet settles into a colour specific to how you carry it.

Will a Rs 5000 note fit without folding it twice?
Yes. A Rs 5000 note is 65 × 143 mm and sits flat in the note compartment of every wallet here, including the smaller ones. The Ledger takes it without folding at all.

How many cards can I really put in?
The slot counts on each product page are honest counts of slots, not the maximum you can force in. One card per slot keeps it slim. Two per slot works, but the leather stretches to fit and does not shrink back — so load it the way you intend to carry it.

Do I pay before or after delivery?
After. The courier takes the cash when he hands you the parcel. Nothing is charged when you place the order, and we telephone to confirm the address before anything is dispatched.

What if it is not right?
The 7 Day Carry Test. Load it, pocket it, carry it a week. If it is not right, send it back unused in its box within seven days of delivery and we refund it. You arrange the return delivery, unless the wallet arrived faulty or was the wrong one — then we pay both ways.

How do I look after it?
Mostly, use it. Keep it out of standing water and off hot surfaces. Once or twice a year, a small amount of any plain leather balm on a soft cloth. Do not use shoe polish, and do not dry it in the sun.
